Are there any game mods that still work with pets that have not been updated?

not to my knowledge

I have a bunch that still work. The ones I marked compatible in the title don't need any update.

Why don't you just look at Treag's mods and figure it out? As he said, they are marked "compatible."

birdyfly - Your list is not quite correct. My celeb mod still needs updating; I really should find time to do it.

As an aside, I don't really understand the point of this thread - what matters is whether a mod works or not; whether it needed updating or not is kind of irrelevant, isn't it?

I also probably didn't get all the mods that are updated/compatible since there are 62 pages worth of mods to look through, so sorry if I missed any.

I was preoccopied with organising my company file in preperation for doing the Business Activity Statement, therefor did not make my intentions clear.

No offence intended, birdyfly, but I was not after a list of all the mods.

HystericalParoxysm, my reason for this thread - While going through the mods, I noted that some of the creaters were not going to update their mods or were no longer active on the site. Therefor, I just thought it would be helpful to other palyers if there was a quick reference List of working, non updated mods, that players could check against without having to go through all the mods.

What is it doing to you exactly? Is it just not removing the censor?

I am assuming you downloaded the last one that says:


If so, then you placed it in your Documents --> Electronic Arts ---> Mods ---> Packages folder, correct?

Also, only use either velocity's mod or Twallan's Decensor. I have never had both in my game at the same time, but it will no doubt cause some problems since they both mod the same thing.

If it is still not working, you can leave a comment here or you can use the Create your own no effects tool which includes the censor.

Awesomemod has a decensor that works as the latest patch as well, but you have to turn it on with the configuration file. Just fyi if you happen to already be running AM.

Sorry about asking on this thread, but since there was already a thread about updated mods, I didn't want to post a new thread.

I just wanted to ask about the CAS mods from MTS. Did they/Do they still need to be updated? I didn't want to risk my game crashing again, so I thought I would ask.

CAS mods shouldn't crash your computer, and they SHOULDN'T be affected by this patch, but there have been reports about some hairs from elsewhere having issues. So basically, you just need to look at them in-game and see if they're OK If not, let the creator know in the download thread.

Like Srikandi said, you do not need to update the sliders, but you do need the updated slider limit mod. That is in Awesome Mod and in Twallan's Master Controller. I believe there is another standalone slider limit mod, but I don't think it's been updated for Pets just yet.

Minor Issues:
Cute Boys Set - The hand slider makes the hands jittery in CAS. Does not hurt the game and this does not happen in game, but it may annoy some. Other than that, I have had no problems with this slider and I still recommend it to those who do not mind this minor issue.
Feet Slider - It makes the feet jittery in CAS. Does not hurt the game and this does not happen in game, but it may annoy some. Personally, I took this one out since I was rarely using it, but I didn't have any problems with it besides the jittery feet. If the Sims feet are bothering you, I'd recommend it.
10 new CAS Sliders - I kept getting strange indents in my clothing with the breast slider installed. I'd recommend that you either not install the breast slider, or wait for the Pets update to see if that will fix this issue.
