Featured upload! Brightening up BodyShop for a Spring Cleaning

This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
This small package file redefines the lighting used in BodyShop, making viewing and modifying your creations there a lot friendlier.

By requests, this package has three versions that have increasing brightness levels, so you can pick the one you like. I also wrote some small details (a mini-tutorial) of how to edit it with SimPE to make it just like you want.

Install is simple... unzip the package file and put one of the files in your config folder (it may work in downloads, but I didn't test it there).

I have attached a screenshot of the same Sim with the old and new lighting system. The brightest file in the new set is just like the one I originally released, with the other two being more moderate brightness level enhancements.

Your name will be praised in front of the computer several times a day, from now on.
I only have a half dozen hacks, as I'm a bit scared of them, but this one really deserves the risk. I wonder why Maxis never bothered to fix it, as so many people complaint about it from day one.

Thank goodness someone finally came up with this! I love the extra tweaks you can do in bodyshop but always end up with ugly sims in CAS 'cause you can't see! Hurray for you!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! The lighting has always been why I avoided making sims in Bodyshop and even why I hardly ever try recoloring actual outfits cause it's such a hassle to keep going back in game to see how it looks. This helps A LOT. <3

Leave it to a fellow Texan . . .

I can't tell you how much I appreciate this. Even though Bodyshop gives options to change more minute detail, such as eyelash length and whatnot, I've always hated using it because it was so blasted dark.

Bless you, bless you, bless you!
